Rowena has a 26 year career in the fitness industry (that’s a lot of push-ups!) and has now dedicated herself to transforming fitness education. She owns THE MAX, a group of six private, prestigious and exclusive International Fitness Business Colleges.
In 2005, 2006 & 2007, Rowena’s business made it onto Australia’s ‘BRW Top 100’ fastest growing companies list. In these same years she was also acknowledged on the BRW Young Rich list as one of the top 20 richest people under the age of 40. Such incredible achievements, especially considering her inauspicious upbringing.
Rowena ran away from home at 15, never finished Year 10 and lived most of her formative years in Campbelltown NSW - not typically the suburb of Sydney known for producing multi-millionaires!
Rowena’s success has also extended beyond the fitness industry. She’s delivered keynote speeches all over the world to a variety of audiences. She’s written 2 life-affirming books; ‘How to Be Happy’ and ‘You Can Be Happy 2’, as well as a motivational healthy lifestyle book ‘How to Get Fat ... and How Not to’.
