Looking for a fun way to meet a crowd of people in one night? Want to relax, have a laugh, and grow your network all at the same time? We designed Musical Chairs for people who want to maximise their networking time in an uplifting environment. As with all Business Chicks events, our aim is to have you leave more inspired and alive then when you arrived.
What you can expect

- A beautiful venue (no offices or fluorescent lights in sight!).
- A relaxed environment – enjoy a glass of bubbly as you chat with your new friends.
- Professional and personal connections – some people come to do business deals, others just come to meet interesting people and make new friends and some just come to learn.
How it works
You arrive, grab your name tag, grab a drink and start to mingle. If you’re nervous, let us know and we’ll look after you and introduce you around. You shouldn’t be nervous though! As with all Business Chicks events, our guests are friendly and happy to be there.
After general networking, the game of Musical Chairs will start. The music will play, you’ll walk (or run!) around and when the music stops, you’ll take a seat opposite your first partner. You’ll have time to talk about what you need and what your role is, and then you’ll hear a sound that will signify it’s time for the other person to start talking. We play the game eight times, which means at a minimum you’ll have eight new contacts, not to mention all the others you make while you're mingling before and after!
When Musical Chairs finishes, you can go back to talking with your favourite people and stay on for an extra few drinks.
