‘Business Chicks Breakfast is one of the most impressive, professional networking events I've attended recently. The calibre of the speaker (Li Cunxin) was outstanding - a very inspirational and seasoned speaker of international standing.
The venue was brilliant - well-located and appropriately set up for the large numbers. The event itself was run smoothly - from beginning to end. I met several interesting women in business during breakfast, with plenty of time for networking and swapping details! The goodie bag and prize draws were a bonus, it is always nice to be pampered with some surprises!
Finally I really like that Business Chicks supports an essential service like Kids Helpline - you can walk away feeling like you've contributed in some small way, while networking at the same time!’

'Attending my first (many more to come now though!) Business Chicks event was like being allowed into a club that you didn't know about but never wanted to leave, once entered. The amount of effort, consideration, fun and energy put into the morning was only surpassed by the fun, energy and inspiration that came out of it. Before going I decided I was just going to put myself out there and make the most of it.
Outcomes: a diverse group of tablemates who I actually enjoyed talking to (not just to make small talk), a yummy breakfast, a ridiculously generous goodie bag, a raffle with highly appealing prizes (disclosure: it does help your day immensely after winning won of those highly appealing prizes!), heart-warming inspiration from the first speaker, only to be followed up by an incredible woman with so much strength, determination and oomph that even the smoothie I was drinking was motivated to be a better version of itself!
If that wasn't enough, I then serendipitously met up with 2 cool 'chicks' outside as I was leaving who I didn't know from a bar of soap, and after chatting excitedly for 5 minutes decided we had enough proof that we would enjoy having dinner together in a couple of weeks. This has since happened and is being repeated soon. Networking at its finest.

‘It was certainly a memorable way to end the first Business Chicks event that I attended! If only every Friday morning could start with someone giving me such beautiful jewellery. I can certainly echo the positive feedback about the event.
Having been promising to go along to a breakfast for a while now, I took a friend of mine with me (from another organisation) and we joined a table of people we had never met and had a great time talking with him. We both agreed that we need to make an effort to bring more along to the next event - how can you refuse an opportunity to meet some great new faces, hear from fantastic speakers and score such amazing goodies... all while supporting a very worthy cause.
