It's official. Women are more ambitious than men.

"Until women are as ambitious as men, they're not going to achieve as much as men." Sheryl Sandberg

It's official. Despite the self-fulfilling cultural prophecy that has discouraged young women from releasing the full range of their career ambitions, young women now surpass young men in the importance they place on having a high-paying career or profession, according to survey findings from the Pew Research Center.

Two-thirds of young women ages 18 to 34 rate career high on their list of life priorities, compared with 59% of young men. That's a historic high, and a 10% jump since 1997. In the same period, young men's career ambition increased only 1%.
