Simon Sinek workshops this week!

Early on in my journey of building Business Chicks, I came across a business concept that stopped me in my tracks. My friends and business peers were talking about this concept and when I learned more about it, it was like the clouds disappeared and the sun started shining.
I learned this business concept from Simon Sinek, our workshop guest next week. Simon wrote the book Start With Why: How Great Leaders Inspire Everyone to Take Action and his video on TED.com has become a worldwide phenomenon. His video has received more than 4.8 million views from around the globe, and his book hit the New York Times bestseller list.
It’s not hard to see why Sinek has been catapulted to business celebrity status. His message resonates with anyone who’s found it hard to get out of bed in the morning and go to work. It also speaks to people who want to be the best they can be, to create something like Steve Jobs did with Apple: he started a movement, challenged the status quo, and ultimately, left a legacy.
Sinek explains that every person and organisation on the planet knows what they do. Some know how they do it. But very few know why they do what they do.
He describes what makes the best leaders in the world and the characteristics they have that others don’t. He teaches you how to uncover your why and then communicate it with the world. He explains why some people and organisations are more innovative, more profitable, command greater loyalties from customer and employees, and most importantly, are able to repeat their success over and over.
