What is the most important lesson you’ve learned during your career? If you don’t ask, you don’t get! In business you never know what you can achieve or gain, simply by asking for it. Many people in business can often make the misassumption that the answer to their question or need will be no. Never ever assume!

If you could meet one person, living or dead, who would it be and why? Richard Branson. I love his positive energy and his fearless entrepreneurialism. His attitude of 'anything is possible' is very inspiring as he completely proves this point.

If there was one piece of advice you could give to someone starting out in your industry/aspiring to your job, what would it be? Surround yourself with positive people. Research your product thoroughly and be realistic. Understand that a business takes time to grow, so you must give it time in order to create a strong foundation for that growth.

How do you define success? Success to me is achieving anything that you set out to do, no matter what the scale.

What motivates you? I am motivated by my passion for the Southern Highlands region and establishing it as a preferred conference destination in regional NSW. I feel that for so long it has been overlooked and yet it has so much to offer! I’m also motivated by achieving the many goals I set myself both professionally and personally.

What’s been the highlight of your career so far? Being nominated for a Telstra Small Business Award.
