Describe your typical day…My day starts with breakfast while reading the news, checking and answering emails and reading through my schedule for the day.  From there every day is different. I look after the corporate communications and business administration sides of our business and my day can be spent doing anything from developing and implementing PR and marketing strategies to internal communication, media relations or relationship management.  Each day is always different, which is what I love.

These days it is so easy for work to sneak into your personal life, so I really make sure I take time out for myself and relax away from the business.  For me, one thing I have to do every day is exercise.  Whether I go to the gym or for a walk, I really look forward to the mental break, it is time away to re-energise and I find it  keeps the creative juices flowing.

When was the last time you felt inspired? I try to surround myself with positive people every day and I feel inspired by everyone in my life. We all go through life’s ups and downs and what inspires me is how resilient we are and how we continue to learn and grow as a result.  We all have amazing stories to tell.

What’s next on your Bucket List and why? The next thing on my list is a trip to Hawaii.  It’s been a dream of mine for such a long time. I am really looking forward to the natural beauty, the beaches and I have to admit the shopping.

 Tell us something about you that may surprise people? I meditate and am very interested in natural and alternative therapies.

 What’s your top tip for success? Listen to your clients, believe in yourself and be present in every moment. Make sure you do something you love because your passion will translate into your work.

What would you like to get from your Business Chicks experience? I am really excited to be a part of the Business Chicks community to network and share ideas with like-minded, successful business women. I am looking forward to learning, meeting new connections and making new friends.
