Liberté Couture is a hi-end new label which creates handmade, one-off clutches, jewellery & accessories using exotic skins, precious metals & jewels.

Describe your typical day… There are many facets to our business so there is no typical day! When I’m designing a collection, I tend to be in Dubai where I purchase the raw materials and work closely with my manufacturers to produce our jewellery lines. The clutch lines are handmade in Australia, so I’m generally back and forth until the entire collection is complete. As we’re a new business, I spend a lot of my time looking at development strategies to promote our company. I try to start my day with a skinny cappuccino and a session at the gym!

When was the last time you felt inspired? I’m always inspired and many things give me inspiration to create.

What’s next on your Bucket List and why? A six week trip with my husband travelling through Europe. Eating at many of the finest cafes, bistros & restaurants. We both love our food and this trip would allow us to spend quality time together whilst experiencing something we both really enjoy.

Tell us something about you that may surprise people? I have a professional standard singing voice.

What’s your top tip for success? Try to do something you personally enjoy and are passionate about.

What would you like to get from your Business Chicks experience? I’d like to meet new people, learn from their experiences and broaden my circle of acquaintances.
