Describe your typical day…Every day is different although some things are part of the daily routine. A recent day in my life included working on a $9m tender, putting the entire concept together, researching for quotes and partners; helping a florist turn around by creating a new strategy that will set her free from the current market downturn and shrinking margins, spending time with my kids and attending a course with my son.

When was the last time you felt inspired? I read every day and meet people that have a special attitude to life; I recently participated in the Awards Day at North West Disability Services and felt so inspired by the staff and users’ joy in receiving the awards and just embracing the moment.

What’s next on your Bucket List and why? I am looking at entering into a partnership with an entrepreneur from the UK to build and operate an outdoor adventure company that is very successful in Europe and US.

Tell us something about you that may surprise people? I believe strongly in giving back to society and that at the end of the day, each of us should look at what they did to help another person.

What’s your top tip for success? Perseverance, focus on the goals and excellence.

What would you like to get from your Business Chicks experience? Networking and sharing solutions; I am sure that for every challenge I encounter, one or more of the members could provide an easy tip from their own experience. Equally, I may be able to help other members.
